Shabbat in Sheboygan: Find your community and a place to belong.
We would love to see you at our Friday night musical services or Saturday morning Torah readings. We are currently updating our website to better serve our members in Cedarburg, Manitowoc, and West Bend, but we are still here and active. Please reach out to us for holiday schedules or to enroll in our educational programs. We look forward to welcoming you into our community.

A home for tradition, community, and belonging in Sheboygan. Congregation Beth El is more than just a synagogue. It is a testament to the strength of our ancestors and a promise to the generations following in our footsteps.

A Legacy of Faith in Sheboygan
Our History and Strength
Congregation Beth El is a spiritual home built on heritage and hope. Founded by families who came to Sheboygan seeking a place to worship and connect, we carry forward a legacy that has lasted for generations. We are a family, dedicated to keeping Jewish traditions alive while building a modern community where everyone feels they belong.

Worship, Connection, and Celebration
The Heart of Our Community
Our synagogue is a place for quiet reflection and joyful celebration. From the music of our Friday night services and the warmth of community potlucks to the importance of the High Holidays, we offer a space to pause and recharge. Whether we are sounding the shofar for Rosh Hashanah or gathering for a peaceful Saturday morning Shabbat, we are here to help you reconnect with your faith and your neighbors.

Wisdom for Every Generation
Learning for Life
Education is central to who we are. Led by Education Director Debbie Intravaia, we encourage spiritual growth for every age group. Our programs range from Torah stories for kids and B’nai Mitzvah prep to in-depth studies for adults. We believe the lessons of the Torah help us navigate modern life with more clarity and compassion.

Connection and Inclusion
A Community Without Borders
Our community reaches far beyond Sheboygan, including Jewish families in Cedarburg, Fond du Lac, Manitowoc, Two Rivers, Elkhart Lake, and West Bend. We value every connection we make and offer several ways to join us. This includes our Friend of Beth El program for non-Jewish neighbors and associate memberships for those who have moved away but want to stay connected to their roots. We are here to walk with you on your journey and keep our shared heritage alive.

Join Our Story
Whether you have lived in Sheboygan your whole life or you are brand new to the area, there is a place for you here.
At Congregation Beth El, our strength comes from the connections we build and the traditions we keep alive together. We are more than just a place of worship. We are a family where everyone is valued and respected. We would love for you to join us for Shabbat, get involved in our programs, or simply find a quiet space for reflection. Together, we are continuing the legacy of those who started this community while making sure it remains a warm and welcoming home for generations to come.
